Cheetah will prey on anything from small antelope to wildebeest if they are brave enough. Their main prey is the tompsons gazelle. This painting depicts an impala doing its best to stay alive for another day!
Safety in Numbers SOLD
This is the first painting to come from my trip to the Masai Mara in 2007. I came across this delightful scene on my way back from viewing a leopard with two cubs.
Quiet Contemplation
I have to admit this is not a wild snow leopard as he is one of the residents of Marwell! I have given it more impact through the careful use of light.
The Ringtail of Marwell.
A resident of Marwell, the ringtails are very playful and inquisitive. I love them!
NEW TIGER CUB - SOLD
The finished painting which was demonstrated at Marwell. The original is reserved but will be available as a print in late September 09.

One of three cubs from the Masai Mara seen on my 2007 visit. A distant relative of one of the cheetahs from the BBC Big Cat Diary series.
The Elephants of Etosha - SOLD
A scene from one of my visits to Namibia. They were all walking down to a waterhole, and they always seem to play follow the leader. Always in a neat line that makes a great picture.
The Power and the Glory
NOT FOR SALE The only painting I still have from my very first public show at Marwell Zoo back in 1990.
Mischief. Baby Orangutan SOLD
Baby orangutan, just in case you didn't recognise him! This little bundle of fun is actually a captive animal although I have seen many primates on numerous travels abroad.
